Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) award is for those who want to be a teacher or trainer and the course covers planning, preparation, and implementation of teaching techniques. PTLLS is the initial award which has been developed to provide a threshold licence to teach.

This qualification is a requirement if you are new to teaching or training. The course is also for qualifies and trained teachers who want to update their knowledge skills.
